Bamboo Clothing
Bamboo clothing is naturally hypo-allergenic, breathable and cool. Athletes love the ability of bamboo clothes to release odor causing bacteria, and because it is so breathable, it wicks the water away from the body as well.
We here at Dancing Yogi LOVE all of those qualities, but we especially love bamboo’s unparalled softness! In this fast paced, "hurry to get dressed" society, we DESERVE to dress in the luxury of BAMBOO fabric. Everyone who tries on our garments croons with comfort, and they are amazed at how a shirt, or pants, or a wrap can invite an immediate sense of relaxation! (Of course that is our favorite part!)
Purses and Handbags
Once you have tried on our bamboo clothing and understand the sum of its parts, complete the outfit with one of our bamboo purses or a rattan, silk or palm leaf handbag. We call them "arm candy"! "Tui" makes these purses for us in Thailand. She uses only organic raw materials to produce these beautiful purses. We love Tui’s handbags because they are a Fair Trade product and because each one is handcrafted by village workers. All dyes are natural, and even on the multi-colored purses, each strand is held over the fire and smoked to get that rich dark color! As the owner of the company, I respect our global community in this 21st Century! Tui’s beautiful designs make us proud of her success as a woman in Thailand.
Bamboo Jewelry
Subrata in India makes our one of a kind hand carved bamboo jewelry. Each piece is "GREEN," designed and crafted by Subrata and his gang in India. Our customers are mesmerized by these intricately woven pieces of jewelry, and are amazed at how lightweight the earrings, pins and necklaces feel. When I am not teaching Yoga, I travel around to local Trade Shows and expos. I will never get tired of talking about bamboo apparel. Each person who walks by The Dancing Yogi booth smiles after touching our baby booties or our bamboo socks, or they just stand there and appreciate fine designs made all over the world by people who respect our planet and want to preserve it by using all natural, sustainable products that do not contain harmful chemicals.
BUNTAL fibers have become our newest fascination this year. In an effort to keep our products "gifts of the earth", we added our BUNTAL purses and handbags to the list of "favorite things."
